Here in Medford, travelers coming from the east coast say airports were hectic after about 6000 flights were grounded. One man we spoke with who flew out of Florida says airport officials hurried to put people on the fastest flights out of the area, trying to beat cancellations.
"Every flight in San Fransisco going anywhere from Chicago, eastward was canceled. Dallas, New York, Philadelphia were cancelled and the place was a zoo of people and most of them weren't being rebooked until Wednesday," said Tom Reeves.
Reeves was one of the lucky ones, many other travelers across the nation are stranded, as many flights to and from the east coast have been cancelled.
