Central Point, Ore. -- It's that time of the year again. The Jackson County Fair is back at The Expo.
The fair has been going on since Oregon became a state in 1859. The Commercial Vendors Coordinator, Betty Wiest, said this years could be one of the best yet.
"The rides are fun. The food is fantastic. We've got barbecue and Greek food. We've got a lot of fun things to do," Wiest said.
Wiest said the carnivals are bigger this year. The fair will have almost 90 different vendors and live music every day.
The fair starts Tuesday at 11 a.m. and ends Sunday evening. The entrance fee is $10. Kids 12 years and younger are free.
