Lumpy's on Riverside Avenue robbed

Updated (8/20 4pm) Medford Police say they have an ID on the man who robbed a Lumpy's on Monday night.

Police say 23 year old Jeremi Lathrop walked in and asked to buy cigarettes when the clerk opened the till he reached over and grabbed cash. Lathrop made off in a maroon Taurus.

Medford Police stated on their facebook page, “we came across Jeremi Lathrop, 23, and charged with the theft from Lumpy’s.”


Medford, Ore. -- Police report the Lumpy's on Riverside Avenue was burglarized.

Monday night, the Medford Police Department says a man went into Lumpy's and asked to purchase some cigarettes.

When the clerk opened the till, he reached in and grabbed the money. Customer's say it's not the first time Lumpy's has been robbed and the neighborhood is dangerous.

The thief is described as a caucasian adult male. He took off in a maroon Ford Taurus.
