Medford, Ore. -- Reports of three missing persons kept Medford Police busy Sunday night and tonight they're asking the public to be more vigilant about reporting missing persons.
Police say they typically only handle seven to ten missing person cases a month, so to have three reports in one night is unusual
"That's our biggest concern if they are suicidal to find them before they commit suicide and if there is foul play involved time is of the essence we're talking minutes are of the essence," Medford Police Lieutenant Mike Budreau.
That's why police ask for people to report missing persons immediately. Police say they investigated 78 missing people’s cases last year up until June.
This year they investigated 68 reports, since 1973 only eight cases have gone unsolved, the cases from last night are still open.
