The Medford school board is looking at a bigger budget for the upcoming school year.
The new 2013-2014 budget was released in last night's meeting. The district is expecting an 8.8 million dollar increase from this year's budget, landing next years figures around 102.4 million.
That's a 9.4 percent increase from the current budget. However Superintendent Phil Long is still hoping to dip into reserve funds.
Talks will continue at the next budget meeting, held on April 23rd. The public is invited to make comments at this next meeting.
