Oregon Arts Commission Awards Over 40 Thousand Dollars In Southern Oregon

Art organizations in Southern Oregon have been awarded more than $ 40,000 in grants from the Oregon Arts Commission this year.

Six southern oregon recipients were selected from the 64 applications submitted.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland received $ 20,000. The Rogue Gallery and Art Center in Medford was awarded $ 5,000

The Britt Festival Association was given just over $ 8,000. The Umpqua Valley Arts Association and the Coos Art Museum were among the recipients this year.
