Hundreds rally to support Princess Helen

Medford, Ore. — It was indeed ‘a royal race for all’. Runners and royalty alike showed up to Helen’s princess dash in Medford this morning. The event was a fundraiser for her royal highness, Helen Lynn, pictured here. Over 200 people ran today, to help four year old Helen raise money for her upcoming surgery.  She’s getting a new kidney soon, after being diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.  The princess’s mother, Lauren, says the whole family is grateful for today’s turnout.

“With everything that we’ve been going through, it just feels like a ginormous hug of support to help us get through this next hurdle that we’re about to have, so it feels awesome, ” said Lauren.

Organizers say the event was a huge success. The run raised about 9,000 dollars and they’re already planning for next year’s princess dash!
