Some call it the 'lucky store'. Rays Food Place in Jacksonville has hailed two multimillionaires since 2005 which has people lining up at the lone lottery machine inside, hoping to get lucky.
In 2005, the Chaney & West family went in on $40 worth in Powerball tickets. They won $340 million. A year later, a Jacksonville man, won $7.4 million with a Mega Bucks lottery ticket at the very same store. Rays Food Place in Jacksonville. Other have won lesser amounts of cash since then but with the news brewing about a $500 million Jackpot up for grabs, people have been in and out of this store. Some deeming it "lucky"
The drawing is tomorrow. Lottery officials say if there is going to be a winner, there would be a 60% chance of that happening during tomorrows drawing. Odds of winning, 1 in 175 million. Don't forget to bring extra cash since the price of Powerball tickets went up to $2.00 in January.
