Two Siskiyou County staff memebers have voluntarily decided to take one furlough day a week to help with the counties budget crisis.

Both County Librarian Michael Perry and County Personnel Manager Anne Waite told the County Board of Supervisors Tuesday night they would take the cut.

The furlough days from both workers will save county almost $27,000 a year.
