The Ashland City Council unanimously approved nearly $100,000 in raises for their police association.
The raises are part of a new three-year contact with the association and include cost of living adjustments and incentive bonuses.
Members will receive a 2% raise this year and a 3% each year after that.
Inside the new contract are financial incentives for members with higher levels of education.
This is the first time the association has seen an increase in pay since 2008.
