After 16 years of planning, the Medford City Council has approved a plan to fix the intersection of Springbrook and Delta Waters Roads.
The new plan will realign Springbrook where it crosses with Delta Waters, to create a traditional intersection.
Bike lanes, storm drains, and street lights will also be put in at Springbrook.
The project already has $1.2 million in funding, provided by the Oregon Department of Transportation.
Reports say the work on the intersection will begin in the next two years.
