Cold Case Investigation Returns Seven Years Later

A cold case investigation  involving the kidnapping and murder of a California woman comes back to police view, seven years after she was found brutally beaten and murdered.

Phillip William Frase of Layton, California is accused of murdering Patricia Joseph whose body was found in July 2005 floating in the Klamath River.
dead from. Patty Joseph's daughter says from the day her mother was kidnapped and the start of the investigation she knew it was Frase who committed the murder, but it was up to police to prove it. Police didn't issue an arrest warrant for Frase until December 9, 2010. More than five yeas after Joseph was killed. Frase plead guilty to manslaughter charges after police connected him to another killing this man, Steven Schmitdt who processed marijuana at his bell springs property. Today Frase is being brought back to Siskiyou County on a warrant for murder of Patricia Joseph. The Siskiyou County District Attorney has said  they will prosecute him. That doesn't mean this case is closed. Police say they wont stop until the woman's killer is found. Phillip W-William Frase is still their number one suspect
