Douglas County couple arrested, accused in abuse of disabled brother

Tiller, Ore. -- A Douglas County couple is facing charges tonight for allegedly abusing a family member with down syndrome.

Detectives arrested Joseph Crumpton and his girlfriend Ginger Gramberg Thursday after a month long investigation.

Crumpton's brother was brought to Rogue Regional Medical Center with serious medical issues including bruising, sores, and weight loss.

Investigators say the couple was abusing and neglecting the 48 year old victim in their Tiller home.

The couple is charged with numerous counts of first degree criminal mistreatment, which is a class "c" felony.
