A possible listeria contamination is prompting a major food recall.

Forever Cheese Inc. is recalling Ricotta Salata Frescolina brand cheese from 11 states, including here in Oregon.

The contaminated cheese has the lot number T9425.

Fourteen people have reported illnesses, which may be linked to the cheese.

The company says that the cheese was distributed between June 20 and August 9 of this year.

If you believe that you have purchased any of the cheese, contact the seller for a full refund.
