Update (10:53pm 04/01): The Medford Police Department said in a Facebook post that the vehicle has been located.

The post said it was located abandoned in 3000 block of Ross Lane sometime Tuesday morning. The post said the only thing missing from the vehicle were the owner's golf clubs.

Medford, Ore. -- A Medford man, selling his car on CraigsList, gets his car stolen by a man posing as a buyer.

It happened Sunday evening in the 2800 block of State Street.

Medford Police say the seller had his 2002 Subaru Impreza (pictured above) listed for sale on CraigsList.

A man claiming to be from Grants Pass came to see the car.

Police say a woman dropped off the man and drove away immediately.

The owner was about to take the man on a test drive when he jumped into the driver's seat and sped off, stealing the car and leaving the seller standing at the curb.

According to the Medford Police Department, this type of crime is unusual "This is an unusual CraigsList crime. Usually the things we see on CraigsList are scams and this was basically straight up theft that occurred that could have been any potential website. It could have been the newspaper" said Lt. Mike Budreau.

The suspect is described as a white male, thin build, brown hair, mid 20s, with tattoos on both arms.

Police are not sure if the woman was intentionally involved.

The stolen car is described as a silver 2002 Suburu Impreza WRX hatchback with Oregon plates "YFS683."
