It's that time of year when many people are saying it's out with the old and in with the new. Many folks took that to heart and dropped donations off at Goodwill locations across the valley this weekend. Typically this weekend is one of the company's busiest as people rush to donate items as a tax write-off.
"We're up about 4% on donations. Sales are great but it's really just because of the communities support because they take the time to come by and give us those donations. It's a win-win for everybody," said Suzy Lewis.
You have one more day to donate if you want a tax deductible for next year but of course you can donate all year long.
