Back in the Rogue Valley, winter weather hit this morning.

Three people were rushed to the hospital this morning after three vehicles collided north of Eagle Point.

The accident happened on Highway 62, just north of Butte Falls Highway around 9:40 am.

Officials say slick roads were a factor and  drivers need to use caution as winter like weather approaches.

"People just need to slow down, slow down and pay more attention. It's slick, it's snowy, people are just not used to driving on these kinds of road conditions yet."

One of the drivers was able to make it out ok and is at home this evening.

The three other victims were taken to Providence hospital and their conditions are unknown at this time.
