Back in Oregon, the Beaver State received a 226-million dollar federal grant this week.
The money will be used to help finish building an online marketplace where residents will be able to compare and shop for health insurance.
Legislators say the program known as 'cover Oregon' is well ahead of the rest of the nation.
"The over all picture here is that we close the loop and essentially we expect to have 95 to 98% of all Oregonians to be insured by the first quarter of 2014. We've done it very well because both sides have have come together and doing it well together."
By next year almost all Americans will be required by law to have health insurance.
