People in Oregon currently earning minimum wage will sppm see their paychecks getting bigger.
Oregon's minimum wage will jump from $8.80 to $8.95 an hour beginning January 1, 2013.
That means a minimum wage worker putting in 40 hours per week in 2013 would earn $18,616.
Oregon has the second highest minimum wage in the country.
Washington state is first at $9.04.
Oregon is one of ten states that makes annual adjustments to its minimum wage, based on inflation and the consumer price index.
