Phoenix residents will have the chance to voice their concerns over water rates tonight at a much anticipated city hall meeting. Water rates have been a sore topic for Phoenix residents since a hike in premiums in 2011. Currently, residents and owners pay $33.50 for the base water rate, which gives them 5.000 gallons of useage.
One controversy however is that many multi-family units have vacant units using no water but are charged the rates anyway.
The meeting to review potential water rate structures kicks off at 6:30 pm this evening in the Phoenix High school library.
