Portland boy dies after fall from apartment window

Portland, Ore. -- (KGW) A 4-year-old boy died Wednesday evening after falling from a third-story window in North Portland.

He fell about 7:15 p.m. at the Miraflores Apartments, 8925 N. Newell Ave.

The boy was rushed to Randall Children's Hospital where doctors could not save his life.

A preliminary information indicates the boy fell through a screened window,  according to Portland Police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson.
