Officials from Portland's Dignity Village are in the Rogue Valley, to talk about a local self-sustaining homeless encampment.

Dignity Village is a self-governed community in the Rose City, set up by the homeless.

Ashland leaders are exploring a similar option.

City officials will be meeting with delegates from Dignity Village
Tuesday, as well as the Jackson County Homeless Task Force.

Meanwhile, a community forum is taking place Wednesday night in Wesley Hall at the United Methodist Church at 6:30 P.M.
