The State of Oregon will pay to have the japaneese dock that washed up ashore on Agate Beach dismantled.

While the state is footing the bill for now, they areseeking help from the federal government for when more debris from last years tsnumai washes ashore.

One of Governor John Kitzhaber's spokesmen has said they have been in talks with the federal government for both financial and logistical help.

So far the federal government has not responded.
