Summer Grilling Safety

With the warmer weather here, fire officials are issuing safety warnings when it comes to grilling.

From 2008 to 2012, there were more than 200 fires related to cook-outs, resulting in nine injuries, and more than four-million in property loss.

Fire officials want to remind barbequers to keep the grill away from your house, including under roof overhangs and on patios in multi-family complexes. Also, make sure children and pets keep a safe distance.
