Two Medford security guards are arrested, accused of overstepping their authority. One charged with assault and harassment. The other is charged with criminal impersonation, a felony charge.

29 year old twin brothers Jason and Don Libby of Jackson County Security can be seen smiling and posing in their uniforms, which look a lot like official police gear. But it's not their look that got them in trouble. It's what police say they did. Making an arrest at Medford's Weldon's Laundromat, and field sobriety testing a citizen on a public roadway. Serious charges in the eyes of the Medford Police Department.

Surveillance video of last months incident shows Jason Libby on his security rounds at Weldon's Laundromat. He can be seen handcuffing a person who was allegedly loitering at closing time. That led to an alleged scuffle between Libby and a witness outside who intervened.  Jason Libby is accused of assualting the woman during a citizen's arrest.

Don Libby is charged with criminal impersonation. He's accused of pulling over a driver and giving them a sobriety test on a Medford road.

Medford Police say they believe there may be more cases involving the Libby brothers that they're not aware of.  They encourage anyone with information to come forward.
