Multiple fire crews spent Thursday morning working to put out a grass fire in Trail, about an acre in size.
The call came in just after 4 A.M. on Thursday.
Both Shady Cove Fire, as well as the Oregon Department of Forestry were on scene, battling the blaze.
Steep terrain and narrow roads made it difficult for crews to
get to the location of the fire.
Officials say, while they were able to get it under control, the time of when the fire started could have been much worse.
No one in the area needed to evacuate.
Officials say they will be on scene all day Thursday to monitor hot spots.
