Training day for Rural Metro firefighters

Grants Pass, Ore.--  Saturday was "Burn and Learn" training day for Rural Metro Firefighters.

30 firemen from practiced how to put out fires safely. A resident donated his house on the 800 block of Coutant Lane for them to burn. And firefighters said practicing is a crucial part of their training.

"With these we take a lot of precautions. A lot of steps to make sure that everyone that's attending today," said Thomas Gulino. 

It took about three hours to put out the intentional house fire.
