A Jacksonville family is lucky to be alive after a tree crashes into their living room, minutes after they went to bed.
Strong overnight winds caused a neighbor's tree to fall, crashing through two stories of the house on 4th Street.
Crews were called out around midnight to clean up the debris, and make sure the roof was secure.
The homeowners say it was a close call.
"We were laying on the couch and we went to bed. About 15 minutes later, we heard a crash and came out to find a tree in our living room,"
said homeowner, Laura Reavis.
There are no injuries to report.
Meanwhile, the clean-up will continue Monday morning.
Crews also responded to fallen trees near Ruch, and in Gold Hill.
