Firefighters from both Oregon and Washington have been deployed to fight fires beyond the West Coast.
This morning, nearly 2-thousand firefighters and support personnel are in Colorado, Montana, and New Mexico.
Currently, there are 50 20-person crews on fire lines in Colorado, where blazes have caused mass evacuations.
Another 700 people are working positions from payroll to commanders.
Officials say this is because Oregon's wildfire season doesn't typically start until mid-July.
No word on when Oregon fire crews will return.
