Our cameras were on the scene of standoff between police, and a man they say was armed with guns and knives.
Authorities say they tried to persuade the man to come out of his home after he barricaded himself inside.
It was supposed to be a simple welfare check, at the 25-hundred block of Antelope Road on Friday night.
But when authorities arrived, a man -- barricaded inside his home -- refused to step outside and made several threats to responding officers and neighbors.
"He was armed with an assortment of weapons, a gun, knives, and brass knuckles."
Authorities from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Oregon State Police, and a SWAT team were called in to help control and deal the situation.
"come out of your home"
They were able to make contact with the man via phone, but eventually, authorities had enough.
After two hours of negotiations the subject came out onto the porch, he was subdued with a less-lethal round, at that point he was taken into custody.
The man was transported to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Tonight, his condition and name are still unknown.
