Looking for some snow day fun, I started driving through Medford and into Jacksonville...both areas and their parks...pretty quiet. I pressed on to Ashland figuring Lithia park would be the hot spot. I worked my way through the park...but it was like one those discovery channel specials..."what if humans vanished.:" So once again no one around..but this looks like at one point it was a snowman...now just a fallen pile of snow. Then I heard a faint sound of laughter and finally...it took some visiting Californians to show what a snow ball fight is all about. Millie Escobar says "it's like one of those Christmas movies" But it's practically march, perhaps that's why most people who have seen snow before are over it....but not this group from San Francisco. Emma says, " I never seen snow before it's pretty cool" Millie added " we watched it snow last night and then too see it still around that's awesome" the snow didn't last long at most of the parks, the opportunity melted away by early afternoon.
