A new study conducted by the U.S. Government shows that 50-percent of recent college graduates are either without work or working in jobs that do not utilize their majors.
Students at Southern Oregon University face an uphill battle to find work in a down economy. The study showed that graduates with majors in sociology, art history, as well as humanities had the most difficult time finding work. Majors in business, science, and health care had the highest rate of employment.
