7.8 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Iran

A state of emergency has been declared in Iran, after a deadly earthquake a 7.8 magnitude quake hit the Iran-Pakistan border on Tuesday. 

Iran's state media is reporting at least 40 people are feared dead.

Buildings shook for 40 seconds or more, and tremors could be felt in Southern Pakistan and the Gulf region.

Authorities are assessing the damage.
