Health officials in Walterville, Oregon are warning residents about the discovery of blue-green algae in a local pond.

The discovery of the toxin algae was found on Friday.

The algae produces toxins that can cause nausea, numbness and potential breathing problems.

While there have been no reports of any human deaths, the toxins have taken the lives of four dogs.
