Oregon's public school districts have received nearly 24-million dollars in the second of two Common School funds.

The state land board provides the states 197 public school districts with funds each year to help increase and provide resources that wouldn't normally be available.

The state determines how much each district  receives by the population of children ages four through 20 within each county.

No exact word on how much Southern Oregon counties will receive.
