Medford, Ore -- A Medford family is safe tonight after police say a drunk driver crashed into their home.
It happened around 10 Monday night in the 1700 block of Corona Avenue and resulted in a mangled garage door, two damaged boats and a some damage to a car.
Homeowner Heidi Choi said Monday night she heard a bang and came out to find the alleged drunk driver, 40-year-old Nicole McCullough, and her minivan inside the garage.
Choi said she was on the phone all day with insurance companies.
"Thank goodness she's insured. These are things, they can be replaced. I'm just glad I didn't find a dead human being in my garage," said Choi.
Choi said she's grateful no one got hurt. Police said McCullough was cited and charged with DUII, then released.
