Tonight -- Ashland business owners who were victims of a spree of burglaries over the past month are speaking out.

Richard Aguiar and Miranda Ramirez were arrested Friday morning in Central Point on a number of theft and burglary charges.

They are accused of stealing a BMW and crashing it into a number of local businesses including El Paraiso restaurant.

"They came in, they took a register, $600, a checkbook.
They wrote 2 checks and they tried to cash the third one for $5000.
That's when the bank called me and I stopped everything after that."

Officials say Aguiar and Ramirez were also wanted in connection to two other burglaries that happened last month.

The investigation is continuing and more charges may be added at a later date.
