Ashland City Council To Discuss Exlucision Law

A new proposal from the Ashland city council is cracking down on public offenders.

The proposal would ban people from downtown who commit three or more public offense in a six month period.

Offenses include consuming alcohol in public, camping in prohibited public areas, unnecessary noise, andassault and harassment.

Offenders would be prohibited from entering downtown for a three month period.

The city council is set to make a decision on the proposal in early June.
