The Ashland City Council is meeting Tuesday night to discuss a number of big-ticket issues.

Reports on the recent efforts to provide homeless shelters will be heard.

A two-year budget of $202 million is also up for discussion.

In the proposal, utility fees would be increased, while property tax rates would remain the same.

The meeting will begin at 7 P.M. at the Ashland Civic Center Council Chambers.
