Ashland, Ore. -- A warning to Ashland residents, the city of Ashland has received reports that a company is trying to sell bottled water to local households.
The company is claiming that Ashland's water is not suitable for consumption, telling people that the city water is coming from Emigrant Lake and cannot be treated properly.
The city says this is a scam and a scare tactic. They say Ashland's water is as safe to drink now as it was before the drought. The city urges you to notify them if this company contacts you.
