Officials are expecting a green light to build a new bio-mass plant near Klamath Falls.

Officials met with the Oregon Department of Energy to discuss the proposed plant, which would be build on Highway 66.

It would burn wood waste that's now being burned in the woods in slash piles.

At this point, officials say the proposal will most likely be reviewed by the Oregon Supreme Court before the plant can be built.
