A string of car break-ins, has Ashland police on the case and issuing a warning to people who park their cars on the streets.

Police say someone, or some people, smashed the windows of 4 cars in the neighborhood around Tolman Creek road on Wednesday morning.

Valuables were stolen from inside the cars.

Police say it serves as a notice, to keep an eye out your neighborhood and keep valuables out of sight.

Deputy Chief Falls says they have no suspects at this time and aren't sure why this neighborhood was targeted.
