Bridge Over I-5 To Be Replaced In Phoenix

The bridge that connects the town of Phoenix to Interstate 5 will soon be replaced.

The project has been rewarded $3.02 million in federal funding.

The Jackson County Board of Commissioners accepted those funds at Wednesday's meeting.

Bids for the upcoming project will be taken this April.

officials say the bridge is part of a larger project to reconstruct the interchange at exit 24. we're told the bridge will be open during construction...

however the work is scheduled to take about 2 years.
