It's an issue facing many parts of our nation, 'Food Deserts' where access to fresh produce is limited and difficult to afford.
Peach Street Market and ACCESS Food Share teamed up Saturday afternoon in West Medford.
They're trying to provide healthier options for the community.
Visitors took a short survey on which fresh foods they would like to have easier access too.
The owner of the store will then make space for the new produce.
ACCESS officials say the heart of the food desert in our area is in West Medford.
The event coincided with 'Eat Local Week' which encourages residents to buy and eat local ingredients.
