Following a tremendously dry winter season, the people of Yreka, California are breathing a sigh of relief after several inches of snow suddenly showed up.

By noon several inches fell covering walkways and side-streets.
This group of teens had a good time messing around in it, but it wasn't enough to let them take a day off of school. As the snow came down, taking a chunk out of that dry spell and taking some stress off of water worries, it caused some headaches for drivers.
On his way to Washington one driver paid a 120 bucks to have chains  installed. But as soon as he did- they lifted the chain restriction. As the snow slowly turned back into rain, driving got a little bit easier, but  left behind a huge mess
That snow is expected to  really hit hard in Mount Shasta City, California. If you go, you'll want to make sure that you have chains or state police will turn you around.
