The Rogue River community is still reeling one week after finding out about a gruesome murder investigation in their town. They said the rumor mill is churning and they're ready to find out more information. However, investigators are not releasing any details.
On Monday afternoon, Jackson County Sheriff's deputies continued to be posted up at both entrances to murder suspect Susan Monica's property. Nearby residents said deputies are parked on Monica's property all day.
Authorities are remaining quiet about the details.
Susan Monica is accused of murdering two people and dismembering or mutilating their bodies.
Prosecutors said Susan Monica killed Robert Haney in September 2013, however they are not saying how he was killed.
According to investigators, the other victim was killed in 2012, but no other details have been released.
Monica is in the Jackson County Jail without bail. She's expected to be back in court on Wednesday, January 22nd.
