As of Monday night, the  computer system that books passengers for flights on Alaska Airlines and Horizon has finally been restored.  NBC5's Laura Cavanaugh reports on the computer failure that grounded and delayed flights nationwide, affecting some 6,000 travelers.

Flights are expected to return to normal Tuesday.  But the airline advises you to check your flight status before your departure.  You can do so by texting your flight number to  2-5-2-7-5-2...or (ALASKA) for updated flight status information.
