Oregon medical Marijuana Card holder, Josh Brewer is free of his felony convictions following a decision by the States Attorney General.

In 2009, 23 year old Josh Brewer was arrested by the Medford Police Department for having more than the amount of medical marijuana allowed with his state medical marijuana card. Following that he was tried and found guilty by a jury for possession and manufacturing and sentenced to 60 days jail and 3 years supervision. After making a call to NBC 5, Brewer found help from the Southern Oregon Militia, a political action group and he was able to appeal the courts ruling. After the state went over the case they found out that Brewer was not outside of Oregon's Medical Marijuana Laws and they overturned the decision. Now, Josh Brewer plans to file a lawsuit against several police officers and county officials.
