Medford, Ore. -- It's day two of testimony in the trial of a man accused of stalking and raping a 14-year-old Phoenix girl back in 2013.

42-year-old Edgar Leonel Perez-Izara sat in court Wednesday morning as the prosecution brought witnesses up to the stand.

On the list to testify was a responding Jackson County Sheriff's Deputy, eye witnesses and a forensic expert talking about DNA evidence found at the scene.

Jury members also watched Perez-Izara's recorded interview with a Jackson County Sheriff's detective, where Perez-Izara denied any wrong doing.

On Tuesday, jury members heard from the victim herself.

Cameras will not be allowed in the courtroom for the duration of the trial.

In a previous interview with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, authorities said Perez-Izara found the girl home alone at her house in Phoenix, made threats to harm her, then sexually assaulted her. According to authorities, he knew the family.
