A driverless car in Ashland causes a scare on Independence Day, after nearly hitting a teen, before crashing into a house.

Reports say the car rolled down Sherman street, and across East Main, before hitting a parked van, and coming to a stop in a yard.

Witnesses say a man grabbed two satchels and a skateboard out of the car, and ran.

Police later caught up with him, and arrested 40 year-old Jeremy Bondurant, on charges of hit-and-run, resisting arrest, among other charges.

This morning, Bondurant is out on $15,000 bail this morning.

Police will continue their investigation Friday, on just what made the car roll.
